The VUE-T is a TRIAC dimmable LED track light for retail stores, pairing a 145lm/W Ra90 light engine with a built-in Allooking TRIAC track driver, so the whole circuit dims from an ordinary wall dimmer with no control wires and no new switch boxes.
It offers a maximum power of 32W and up to 4500lm for 3–5m retail ceilings. Phase-cut dimming is the cheapest dimming technology to buy and the simplest to retrofit — one dimmer swap upgrades the entire rail. Every VUE-T ships with a 5-year warranty.

Every dimming technology dims the LED — the difference is what you must buy and rewire to get there. DALI needs a data bus to each head plus commissioning; wireless needs app setup per node. VUE-T needs neither: one ordinary wall dimmer dims the whole track circuit over the existing mains cable, which makes it the lowest upfront cost per dimmed circuit. VUE-T Retrofit Without Rewiring for Shops and Restaurants
Most small retail and hospitality spaces already have mains cable and a switch position in the wall. The retrofit keeps both:
- Boutiques — swap the switch, keep the cable: replace the on/off switch with a TRIAC wall dimmer and the rail dims the same day.
- Restaurants — mood by the hour: full bright for lunch service, dimmed warm ambience for dinner, from one knob by the door.
- Small supermarkets — dim the aisles, not the bill: evening dim-down trims trading-hour consumption with zero new wiring.
The built-in ALD TK3 driver dims flicker-free down the phase-cut curve with standby below 0.5W and PF above 0.9, so cheap dimming never means cheap light quality. The same TRIAC technology in recessed form lives in our TRIAC recessed spotlight — track heads for rails, recessed heads for ceilings.

Because there is nothing extra to buy or wire: the dimmer is a wall switch, the signal is the mains cable itself, and the driver is already inside the track adapter.

In most cases yes, with one check: the VUE-T driver accepts standard phase-cut wall dimmers, and its flicker-free circuit stays stable down the dimming curve. Before a large order, confirm whether the installed dimmers are leading-edge or trailing-edge and test one head on site — a one-head sample avoids surprises across hundreds of fixtures. Every VUE-T order can include that sample head.
No — and that is the honest trade-off: one wall dimmer sets the whole circuit, so all heads on that rail follow one knob together. Zones need separate circuits with separate dimmers. If the layout needs per-fixture scenes from a phone, choose the VUE-T circuit layout for general aisles and the wireless Casambi track light for feature zones that regroup often.
