DISK-R Surface Multi-Cell Downlight

DISK-R series · 30W/50W · 120lm/W · Ra80/Ra90 · 15/24/36°

The 30-50W ultra thin surface multi-cell downlight for retail covers 30W to 50W (3600lm to 6000lm Ra80) at 120lm/W with a SMD source plus multi-cell lens in 15°/24°/36° narrow beams at Ra80/Ra90 — two flat discs share a 3-head and 5-head pool face in a 39mm body (Ø300/Ø350mm, bracket fix, no cutout).

This flat disc drops three or five even accent pools from a single feed while projecting only 39mm over boutique floors, jewelry counters and hotel lobbies where tall cylinders would intrude. It works as the one-feed multi-pool layer in a retail lighting solution with track and linear lights, while its tall-cylinder twin HUBX-C dark-light downlight covers zones that accept a 100mm body.

  • 2 flat discs, 3/5 heads, 30W/50W, 3600/6000lm Ra80 at 120lm/W
  • SMD multi-cell lens, 15°/24°/36° narrow beams at Ra80/Ra90
  • 39mm ultra thin body, one feed replaces three to five single cans
  • Ø300/Ø350mm bracket mount, zero cutout for concrete slabs

Explore DISK-R Ultra Thin Family

120lm/W SMD multi-cell retail pools in a 39mm no-cutout disc

The 30-50W ultra thin surface multi-cell downlight for retail spreads high flux across 3 or 5 SMD clusters inside a flat no-cutout disc. One ceiling feed drives a full symmetric pool group, so concrete-slab shops, rented boutiques and low corridors get even accent rows without hole cutting or tall bodies.

39mm Flat Body, Almost Flush

Ø300/Ø350mm discs, 39mm projection

Tall cylinders read in sightlines and clash with low soffits. DISK-R presses the whole engine into a 39mm flat disc — Ø300mm for the 3-head 30W, Ø350mm for the 5-head 50W — fixed straight onto the slab with a bracket, zero cutout, while running the same 15°/24°/36° beams as its tall-cylinder twin.

  • 3-head Ø300xH39mm: niches, fitting rooms, counters and bedheads
  • 5-head Ø350xH39mm: apparel rails, shelf aisles and lobby rows
  • Same optics as tall twin: pick by ceiling height, not by beam
  • High flux, flat package: up to 6000lm Ra80 with no void needed

One Feed, Three or Five Pools

Symmetric pool groups, single wiring point

Where single cans need one feed per pool, DISK-R wires once and lights three or five pools in a fixed symmetric pattern. The shared disc keeps spacing exact across long counter runs and corridor rows, and a single 220-240V feed plus optional TRIAC / 0-10V / DALI driver dims the whole group together.

  • 3 pools: replaces three single cans over one counter
  • 5 pools: one disc covers a full aisle bay
  • Fixed pattern: pools never drift out of alignment
  • One dimming curve: the whole group dims as one lamp

Clean Narrow Pools, Shopfront Dot Face

15/24/36° pools with soft edges

Small lenses over small SMD faces hold tight 15°/24°/36° pools with soft clean edges — no ghosting, no yellow rings that large single faces show through shallow bodies. The 3-dot and 5-dot lit face reads as modern shopfront detail, and black or white discs with eight cup finishes match any fascia.

  • 15° beams: jewelry cases, watch counters and feature pods
  • 24°/36° beams: apparel rails, shelf aisles and corridor fill
  • Ra80/Ra90: 120lm/W shop white, stepped 110lm/W gallery white
  • Disc look: white for plain mall ceilings, black for dark fascias

Why DISK-R for One-Feed Multi-Pool Retail

Flat discs where tall cylinders intrude and single cans multiply feeds

Accent Rows Without Tall Bodies or Extra Feeds

Boutiques, phone stores and jewelry counters sign short leases on concrete slabs — they need even straight-down pools with one wiring point and almost no visible body. DISK-R answers with 3 or 5 fixed SMD clusters per disc: narrow 15° beams punch display cases while 24°/36° beams fill rails and aisles, all at 120lm/W. Plan the sales floor inside a complete surface and recessed downlight family where DISK-R holds the low-ceiling zones.

Flat multi-pool disc versus tall cylinder — pick by ceiling clearance — for 39mm-only soffits and rented shells, choose DISK-R with its almost-flush face; if a 100mm dark-light cylinder is acceptable and side shielding matters most, see the HUBX-C dark-light surface cylinder downlight instead. Where layouts rotate weekly and heads must swing to follow, the IRIS-S tiltable surface downlight takes over.

Good to know before you order: DISK-R discs aim straight down and never tilt, so window displays that change weekly belong to the aimable IRIS-S instead. One feed means one switch for the whole group — zones that need independent control take single cans instead, and large halls still pair these accent pools with wash light for even fill. Dry indoor ceilings with a level fixing base only (IP20).

FAQ

Quick answers about the DISK-R flat disc family

Match the disc to the zone — one head count per pool row keeps shop ceilings quiet.

  • 3-head (30W, 3600lm Ra80) suits niches, fitting rooms, bedheads and small counters.
  • 5-head (50W, 6000lm Ra80) suits apparel rails, shelf aisles, corridors and lobbies.
  • Both discs run all three beams, both housings and all eight cup finishes, sharing one flat dot face from the LED downlight family index.

Mark every pool group on the reflected ceiling plan before fixing the brackets, since one DISK-R feed covers a full bay.

Pick the beam by target size — both discs run all three beams.

  • 15° for jewelry cases, watch counters and small feature pods.
  • 24° for mannequins, apparel rails and standard counters.
  • 36° for corridor floors, shelf aisles and lobby fill.

Fixed discs never drift, so DISK-R suits set-and-forget rows where one feed must hold its pattern for years.

Match the disc to the fascia and the cup to the ceiling — one color per order.

  • Black discs for dark fascias, dark wood and night-scene shopfronts.
  • White discs for plain mall ceilings and bright lobbies.
  • White, silver and bright silver cups for plain and metallic ceilings; black, matt black and gun black for dark interiors; champagne gold and rose gold for boutique brass details.

Confirm the combination in the inquiry and the factory kits one color across both DISK-R discs.

Pick white by merchandise — both CRI options hold color across all five whites.

  • 2700K/3000K warm white for boutiques, suites and fitting mood.
  • 3500K/4000K neutral white for sales floors and galleries.
  • 5700K cool white for high commercial halls.

Mixed floors keep one flat dot face while each DISK-R zone gets its own white.

Fix the bracket base straight onto the slab — wiring runs through the base, so no hole is cut at all. 3-head discs (Ø300xH39mm) suit niches and bedheads; 5-head discs (Ø350xH39mm) suit rails and lobby rows. Both aim straight down and never tilt, so pick by ceiling clearance: 39mm-only soffits take DISK-R, while zones that accept a 100mm body can also consider the tall-cylinder HUBX-C twin.

Single cans need one feed, one hole pattern and one aim check per pool — five pools mean five of everything. DISK-R wires once for three or five pools in a fixed symmetric pattern, so counter runs stay aligned and the whole group dims on one curve. Choose DISK-R for even rows that never change; keep single cans for zones that need independent switching per pool.

Know four boundaries and the discs never disappoint.

  • Fixed straight-down aim — window displays that change weekly need the aimable IRIS-S instead.
  • One feed per group — zones needing per-pool switching take single cans instead.
  • Accent layer, not the only source — narrow beams leave dark edges in large halls, so pair the pools with wash light.

Dry indoor only — IP20 keeps DISK-R to shops, eateries and hotels on level solid ceilings, never wet zones or outdoors.
