SLAB-S Surface Multi-Head Downlight

SLAB-S series · 20W/40W/60W · 120lm/W · Ra80/Ra90 · 15/24/36°

The 20-60W square multi-head surface downlight for shops covers 20W to 60W (2400lm to 7200lm Ra80) at 120lm/W with a SMD source plus multi-head lens in 15°/24°/36° narrow beams at Ra80/Ra90 — three square plates share a 2-head, 4-head and 6-head pool face in a 39mm body (200/368mm wide, bracket fix, no cutout).

This square plate drops two to six even accent pools from a single feed while projecting only 39mm over apparel aisles, shelf aisles and hotel halls where round discs leave scalloped gaps. It works as the plan-matched accent layer in a retail lighting solution with track and linear lights, while its round-disc twin DISK-R surface multi-cell downlight covers point-accent zones on the same project.

  • 3 square plates, 2/4/6 heads, 20W/40W/60W, 2400/4800/7200lm Ra80 at 120lm/W
  • SMD multi-head lens, 15°/24°/36° narrow beams at Ra80/Ra90
  • 39mm square body, one feed replaces two to six single cans
  • 200/368mm bracket plates, zero cutout for concrete slabs

Explore SLAB-S Square Plate Family

120lm/W SMD multi-head shop pools in 39mm no-cutout square plates

The 20-60W square multi-head surface downlight for shops maps one square, one linear and one wide plate onto single bays, shelf runs and open halls. Pick the plate by floor plan — the 368mm module, the straight tiling edge and the shared DISK-R engine keep every zone on one ordering logic.

Plan Shapes, Not Just Watts

Square 200mm / linear 368x158mm / wide 368x248mm

Round discs force every zone into point accents. SLAB-S gives each plan type its own plate: the 2-head 20W 200x200mm square sits over a single bay, the 4-head 40W 368x158mm linear runs with shelf aisles and corridor axes, and the 6-head 50W-class 60W 368x248mm wide covers an open hall from one fixing point — all in the same 39mm no-cutout body.

  • 2-head 200x200mm: fitting rooms, niches, bedheads, cashier points
  • 4-head 368x158mm: apparel aisles, shelf aisles, corridor runs
  • 6-head 368x248mm: atriums, open sales floors and lobbies
  • One family, three plans: one inquiry covers bay, aisle and hall

Straight Edges Tile Into Rows

368mm module butt-joints, no scalloped gaps

Round discs in a row always leave scalloped dark triangles between pools. SLAB-S plates butt-joint along the shelf line on a 368mm module with constant joints, so the pool line stays straight down the whole aisle. Square corners sit calm against plaster joints and grid lines, and one orientation per axis keeps setting-out fast.

  • Continuous runs: 368mm plates repeat without dark triangles
  • Grid-calm corners: square edges follow ceiling joints, discs fight them
  • Bay-to-bay rhythm: columns, doorways and corners take whole plates
  • Single orientation: one axis, one aiming check, faster install

Same Engine as DISK-R, Pick by Geometry

Shared SMD 15/24/36° engine, square or round face

No re-learning: SLAB-S runs the same SMD 15°/24°/36° engine, 2700–5700K five whites, 120lm/W and eight cup finishes as the round DISK-R twin. Spec the square plates for grid ceilings, linear aisles and straight aisles, and the round discs for point accents and curved circulation — mix both on one project with one white and one cup language.

  • 15° beams: jewelry cases, watch counters and feature pods
  • 24°/36° beams: apparel aisles, shelf aisles and hall fill
  • Ra80/Ra90: 120lm/W shop white, stepped 110lm/W gallery white
  • Plate look: white for plain mall ceilings, black for dark fascias

Why SLAB-S for Plan-Matched Square Retail

Square plates where round discs leave gaps and tall boxes intrude

Bay, Aisle and Hall From One 39mm Platform

Apparel chains, phone alleys and food courts repeat three plan types — single bays, linear aisles and open halls — on concrete slabs that forbid cutouts. SLAB-S answers with 2, 4 and 6 fixed SMD clusters per plate: narrow 15° beams punch display cases while 24°/36° beams fill aisles and halls, all at 120lm/W. Plan the sales floor inside a complete surface and recessed downlight family where SLAB-S holds the square-grid zones.

Square plate versus round disc — pick by plan geometry — for grid ceilings, shelf lines and straight aisles, choose SLAB-S with its tiling edges; if the scheme needs point accents on curves or feature pods, see the DISK-R round-disc surface multi-cell downlight instead. Where layouts rotate weekly and heads must swing to follow, the IRIS-S tiltable surface downlight takes over.

Good to know before you order: SLAB-S plates aim straight down and never tilt, so window displays that change weekly belong to the aimable IRIS-S instead. One feed means one switch for the whole group — zones that need independent control take single cans instead, and large halls still pair these accent pools with wash light for even fill. Dry indoor ceilings with a level fixing base only (IP20).

FAQ

Quick answers about the SLAB-S square plate family

Match the plate to the plan type — one plate shape per zone keeps aisles quiet.

  • 2-head (20W, 2400lm Ra80) suits fitting rooms, niches, bedheads and cashier points.
  • 4-head (40W, 4800lm Ra80) suits apparel aisles, shelf aisles and corridor runs.
  • 6-head (60W, 7200lm Ra80) suits atriums, open sales floors and hotel lobbies.

Mark every plate on the reflected ceiling plan first, since one SLAB-S feed covers a full bay, aisle section or hall module.

Round discs in a row leave scalloped dark triangles between pools that no aiming can close. SLAB-S square and rectangular plates butt-joint on a 368mm module with constant joints, so the pool line stays straight down the whole shelf run. Square corners also sit calm against plaster joints and grid lines, while one orientation per axis keeps setting-out and aiming checks to a single pass.

Same engine, different face — split by ceiling geometry, not by light quality.

  • SLAB-S square plates for grid ceilings, linear shelf aisles and straight aisles.
  • DISK-R round discs for point accents, curved circulation and feature pods.
  • Both share 15/24/36-degree beams, five whites, 120lm/W and eight cup finishes.

Confirm one white and one cup color per order and the factory kits both families alike from the LED downlight family index.

Pick the beam by target size — all three plates run all three beams.

  • 15° for jewelry cases, watch counters and small feature pods.
  • 24° for mannequins, apparel aisles and standard counters.
  • 36° for corridor floors, shelf aisles and lobby fill.

Fixed plates never drift, so SLAB-S suits set-and-forget rows where one feed must hold its pattern for years.

Fix the bracket base straight onto the slab — wiring runs through the base, so no hole is cut at all. 2-head plates (200x200xH39mm) suit single bays; 4-head plates (368x158xH39mm) run along aisles; 6-head plates (368x248xH39mm) cover halls. All aim straight down and never tilt, so zones that change weekly take the aimable IRIS-S instead.

Pick white by merchandise and the plate by fascia — one color per order.

  • 2700K/3000K warm white for boutiques, suites and fitting mood.
  • 3500K/4000K neutral white for sales floors and galleries.
  • 5700K cool white for high commercial halls.

Black plates for dark fascias, white plates for plain mall ceilings; champagne gold and rose gold cups for boutique brass details, silver and gun black for metallic and dark interiors.

Know four boundaries and the plates never disappoint.

  • Fixed straight-down aim — window displays that change weekly need the aimable IRIS-S instead.
  • One feed per group — zones needing per-pool switching take single cans instead.
  • Accent layer, not the only source — narrow beams leave dark edges in large halls, so pair the pools with wash light.

Dry indoor only — IP20 keeps SLAB-S to shops, eateries and hotels on level solid ceilings, never wet zones or outdoors.
